Appointment Booking Procedures

(1)Please send an email to between 8am and 10am (weekdays except for consulate holidayswith the following five points.

The subject of the email should be "JPN VISA APPOINTMENT".
※If you do not use this subject line, you may not be able to make an appointment.
1. Name of the person coming to the Consulate
2. Nationality of the applicant(s)
3. Purpose of visit to Japan* 
4. Emirates ID / Passport number of the person who is coming to the Consulate
    (Same ID should be shown at the security. )
5. Number of applications (※Max 10)
*Make sure to mention one purpose of your visit.
(Short-term Business, Tourism(Single/ Multiple), Visiting relatives, COE holders and Domestic Helper, etc)

*We will not accept your application(s) if your travel date is more than 3 months or less than 2 weeks at the time of application. 

Appointments ONLY for the next working day will be accepted.
・ Appointments cannot be made by a phone call.
Please fill in your name and other information accurately.
Those emails sent before 8am and after 10am is not accepted.  
We will reply to you by 4pm only when the appointment is confirmed, so please make sure to visit the Consulate during the time period indicated in the e-mail.
If you do not receive a reply from us by 4pm, it means that your appointment request was not successful. Please send another e-mail between 8am and 10am the next day.
Children below 18 are not allowed to enter except for COE applications. 
In case your application wasn't accepted due to missing documents, you may required to make an another appointment. 
(2)We reply to you with a confirmation number and a timing of the appointment for the next day.
The applicant(s) must print out the email from us and bring it to the Consulate.

(3)Make sure to visit the Consulate at the time indicated in the e-mail.
※If you do not come to the Consulate at the scheduled time, your appointment will be automatically cancelled. 
Make sure to apply at least two weeks prior to your scheduled flight.
Please note that applications for business, visiting relatives, and humanitarian cases may be given priority.
No express services.
You / Proxy may be interviewed when submitting documents, so please answer to questions truthfully, responsibly and without lying.
